Within the framework of his visit to Albania during which he will attend the Western Balkans foreign ministers meeting , Macedonia's Foreign Minister Poposki visited the municipality Pustec where he met with its Mayor Edmond Temelko.
According to the Interior Ministry, Poposki also had meetings with representatives of the municipality's council, Macedonian language teachers, as well as with representatives of the Macedonian community from several municipalities in Albania.
At the meetings, it was discussed about: greater cooperation with the Prespa region; ecology; tourism; and the improvement of the infrastructure which connects Macedonia, Albania and Greece.
"The education of our children is the most important investment in the European future of all the regional countries...Albania and Macedonia have a great opportunities for cooperation on their way to EU. It is important for our citizens to really feel the need to come close to the EU and feel it as an attainable goal. In the coming period we should realize more connections and projects", Minister Poposki said.
He also visited some schools in Pustec, where he donated books in Macedonian, the report of the Interior Ministry stated.
