Eleven people have died in southwestern Japan over the last few days due to bad living conditions after two big earthquakes struck that part of the country, Japan authorities reported.

According to reports from the crisis committee in Kumamoto prefecture where the earthquake epicenters were located, the reasons for the death of these citizens are different- stress, impaired circulation, lack of sleep...but, all of them are consequences from the drastic changes related to the earthquakes.

From Thursday until Wednesday in Kumamoto, where thousands of buildings have been destroyed, around 600 aftershocks of different intensities were registered.

Since then, over 100,000 people have been living out in the open, in trailers or in cars.

Local authorities and NGOs have been handing out pamphlets so the people can get informed on how to minimize health risks.
